Is Military Life Hard on Families?
There’s no doubt that military life is demanding. Service members have a lot on their plates between deployments, trainings, and moving around the country (or the world). And while they’re certainly dedicated to their job, it can be tough on their families.
Being a military wife often means being a single parent for long periods of time. It can be difficult to maintain a steady job when you’re constantly moving. And there’s always the fear that your loved one may not come home. In addition, many military families live far away from extended family and friends, which can make them feel isolated. Some families thrive in the military lifestyle, while others find it more difficult. The good news is that you get to decide what you believe about life in the military.
