Episode 72 – Focusing on Problems vs Focusing on Solutions with Kate Ellertson

My daughter Kate joins me on the podcast in this episode to discuss why our brain is so good at seeing problems and focusing on them. This is just the way the normal human brain is designed to work, but the problem is whatever we focus on gets bigger and this can make it seem like there are only problems and no solutions when we’re in the midst of challenging circumstances or if we’re trying to accomplish a big scary goal. Fortunately, all it takes is a little bit of awareness and mind management to overcome this issue.

In this episode you will learn the main tool that I use to focus on possible solutions rather than problems. This tool is called Obstacles and Strategies.
