Episode 68 – If Your Brain Was a Garden

I’m a huge fan of gardening and love being outside and working in the dirt. I do my best thinking when I’m doing activities like gardening. This analogy for brain being like a garden has formed over the years and the final piece of the puzzle fell into place earlier this year when I realized what the weeds in the garden represented and why they are able to grow so easily when we don’t want them there.

Tune in to hear my thoughts on this new way to think about our level of care for our brain and what each piece in the analogy represents. I think you’ll really enjoy thinking about your mental health in this way. Unless you don’t like gardening, then maybe you won’t. Ha ha! If you don’t like gardening I’m sure you can find a similar task to substitute in this same way. Enjoy!
