Episode 67 – Having Courage vs Having No Fear

Fear is a big part of this human life, and often even more so for us military wives.

I have found that in my life fear has been a big part of some of the greatest things I’ve done and for that reason I decided that I wanted to be better at feeling it because I like the experiences that come along with it.

Another reason I want to be an expert at feeling fear is that living with a small amount of fear (and sometimes a big amount of fear) for long periods of time comes with the territory of being a military wife. If we don’t know how to feel it, if we don’t have a plan for how we want to live with fear, if we don’t know what we want to intentionally do when fear knocks us on our faces, then we spend SO much time fighting fear.

Tune into this episode to find out why our lower brain offers us the solution of having “no fear,” while our higher brain offers us the solution of having courage (which means feeling fear and doing it anyway). Enjoy!
