Brad and I have a goal to raise our amazing little human beings that we have been entrusted with into incredible adults. Another way I like to think about it is that we want to teach our kids the tools and skills they need to be excellent future roommates. Knowing how to work hard is a crucial component of that goal.
Join me on the podcast today to hear about how we are teaching our kids how to work and how to work hard (while having completely realistic expectations). I have a special guest on the podcast today, my daughter Maren helped me make this episode so that she could give a kid’s perspective on hard work.
Here are some things we say a lot in our house when it comes to work:
-We work hard until the hard work is done.
-The job is done when you’re proud of your work.
-Team Ellertson!
-Do you have a maid I don’t know about?
-Put some elbow grease into it.
-Thank you for your family work this week.
-Time for a white tornado!
