It’s not often someone can say, “I know what you’re going through,” and mean it. But I do. I know what it’s like when your spouse is gone all the time. I know the pain of feeling disconnected from your husband while he’s away and home. I know the struggle of waiting to get pregnant because of a deployment, being pregnant during deployment, and losing a baby. I know it’s hard watching your kids struggle with their dad being gone and fearing for his safety. I know what it’s like to feel alone, scared, and overwhelmed with everything that comes with being a military wife.
